Hey there-

How’d you stumble across my blog? Always nice to find a reader in China - I spent a week there a few years ago, and it’s a fascinating place. I’ve put a lot of time into sex-ed in the states and will be moving to Africa with the Peace Corps in the fall, and your assessment of the Chinese STI situation is spot-on, in my opinion. Interestingly, I was in a elder’s center in Beijing, and there were condoms available in the bathrooms. The Chinese are all about birth control to keep the population down, but the taboos surrounding disease are still pretty strong. I don’t know you, but i’m going to continue reading your blog by virtue of this comment: “Less information has never led to better health.”

PS. As to my SAT class and their essay prompt, as we discussed it more and put it in the context of “what if it was you or your brother?” they all came around, and their final essays all supported individual responsibility as a good thing. Anyway, thanks for reading and have a great time in China!

All of my friends and group mates have. They not only pay for things with their credit card but also get rewards for purchasing. However some of them have made a substantial debt already. I’ve found lots of student credit cards at
